General Policies and Procedures

The Advantage Unlimited AudioSeminar.com ListServ is an "e-mail" list for church sound, video and lighting operators, as well as for audio, video and lighting professionals. It serves to provide a forum to exchange audio, video and lighting related ideas and exchange related information. Here is how it works:

1. You must subscribe to the ListServ. The group membership is moderated and your subscription must be approved by Advantage Unlimited AudioSeminar.com.
2. Once your membership is approved, you will receive a welcome message notifying you that you are ready to begin using the ListServ. You will begin receiving every e-mail message posted from other group members. Please understand you will be receiving a lot of emails from the group!!!
3. To post a message to the group, just address it to list1@AudioSeminar.com and the entire group will receive it. Include your name and email address with all posts and replies.
4. The ListServ will be moderated by Bruce Lee in the audio, video and lighting issues and by Yoli Lee in the administrative issues.

IMPORTANT!!! PLEASE OBSERVE THE FOLLOWING GUIDELINES

1. All messages must be "plain text." Turn off any formatting of text for messages sent to list1@AudioSeminar.com.
2. Do NOT quote the original message when replying to the ListServ. You can quote portions of the message to clarify your response.
3. Do NOT send attachments to the ListServ.
4. Do NOT change the name of a ListServ thread. Simply hit the "Reply to:" button and LEAVE THE NAME UNCHANGED. To reply to a message, select "Reply to:" in your email software. This will insert the address of the group in the "To:" field. If you wish to reply to the individual who sent the message, you must enter their address manually. We strongly encourage that you reply to the entire group so that all can benefit from your comments. DO NOT CHANGE THE NAME OF THE THREAD THAT YOU ARE RESPONDING TO!!!
5. Do NOT set an auto-responder or vacation message.  If you have to set one, please request to be temporarily removed by sending an email to listadmin@AudioSeminar.com.
6. Only post questions, answers, recommendations and suggestions. Anyone posting promotion of events, sales of equipment or any other messages like that, will be removed.
7. Domains like Yahoo, AOL and Earthlink, among others, do not like bulk email and consider it Spam.  You will have to contact your provider and ask them what you need to do to guarantee that they don't block emails coming from the ListServ.  When they are returned undeliverable, your email is then removed from the List.

General Guidelines for Using the Advantage Unlimited AudioSeminar.com ListServ

1. Keep your comments concise and to the point.
2. Remember that this ListServ is made by Christians to help Christians. Our hope is that this ListServ will be used to share information, as well as to encourage technicians.
3. Ask reasonable questions.
4. Please set your email program to send "text only" messages to the group. THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT!!!
5. Avoid unnecessary comments that create email traffic and do not give any valuable information on a thread.
6. All messages posted in the ListServ are property of Advantage Unlimited AudioSeminar.com and should not be reproduced in any means without written approval from Advantage Unlimited AudioSeminar.com.

Undeliverable Messages
Your address will be deleted from the group if we get undeliverable messages from your mail server for 24 hours. Please email us at listadmin@AudioSeminar.com about any email address changes. If you do not receive any messages for over 48 hours, your address was probably deleted.  If you have cleared up the problem, you may email us at listadmin@AudioSeminar.com.
